CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations to our winners Maja Radinovic, Pat Lamouroux, Michael Kapsalis , Hurcell Cay, Tomas Korec, Giorgos Giorgakis, Man Panos, Maria Fragiadaki, Panos Kiamos and George Kamelakis who between them win the twelve prizes kindly donated by our sponsors. Many thanks to everyone who submitted photos but unfortunately the judges could only award prizes to a handful of photographers, so better luck next time! All the winning photographs can be seen at our exhibition in Heraklion from January 25th, see below for details.

THE EXHIBITION:

Avant Garde Café are delighted to invite you to a special exhibition of the twelve winning photographs.

The exhibition will open with a reception on Wednesday 25th January at 21:00 with wine & tasty snacks to enjoy. Prizes for the winning photographers will be also presented by the founder of NowHeraklion.com Clive Birch and many of the contest's kind sponsors will be present.

The exhibition will then continue at Avant Garde for two weeks until Wednesday 8th February and we look forward to seeing you!

THE JUDGING PANEL:

All the photographs submitted were viewed by a panel of five judges consisting of Zaharenia Atzitzikaki (Web Designer), Ellen Weijers (Artist Photographer), Kallia Platyrrachou (Architect), Nikos Katzilakis (Journalist) and Graham Hodgetts (Photographer) who decided the winners for each of one of the prizes below.

THE PRIZES:
Prizes (to be presented in Heraklion) will be awarded to the best 12 photos (chosen by our judges) as follows and in no particular order:
