CONGRATULATIONS!

NowHeraklion.com in association with the Technopolis Group are delighted to offer FIVE PAIRS of tickets to see the new James Bond movie SKYFALL 007 (from Thursday 1st November) at the Vitsentzos Kornaros Theatre.

Congratulations to our winners
Zacharias Tsatsakis, Henricus Roozendaal, Eleni Chalk, Victoria Light and Yorgos Kasapakis whose names were first out of the hat in our prize draw and who each win free entrance for two to see SKYFALL 007.

We accepted two correct answers to our question "Can you name the actor who played the first James Bond?" as "Barry Nelson" played 007 in a made-for-TV movie 'Casino Royale' in 1954 but more famously "Sean Connery" starred in the first movie for the big screen 'Dr. No' in 1962.

Many thanks to everyone else for your entries, we had many correct answers, but there could only be five winners so better luck next time folks!

The Vitsentzos Kornaros Theatre located in the heart of the city centre, right behind the museum and named after the famous Cretan poet, is probably the most impressive cultural venue in the city! More often used nowadays as a cinema, this vintage theatre boasts a classic yet modern mix of aesthetics, acoustics and Neo-Classical architectural features. Check out our cinema listings for show-times for the movie (when confirmed) and for more about SKYFALL click here.
